Human Resources Recruiter
Based in
Triton’s Edmonton
corporate office, this position is responsible to provide Recruitment and
Administrative support to the Human Resource team to ensure that Triton
Projects achieves their general and specific trades recruitment goals.
Specific
responsibilities will include the following:
-
Working in conjunction with the Human Resource Team to staff
Triton Projects Trades requirements;
-
Full cycle recruitment of trades, labour, and project
administration personnel required to meet the needs of Construction,
Maintenance, and Fabrication business units for ongoing and project
positions;
-
Administration of HRIS, including populating the system with
personnel data, reporting, and forecasting for future resource
requirements;
-
Represent the Company to prospective employees at trade and
educational venues;
-
Develop and maintain field employee listings, including crew
size and breakdowns, crew balancing, training, and other relevant
information;
-
Administration and organization of all online and paper-based
application documentation;
-
Administration and coordination of required training and
pre-site access requirements for all trades and labour personnel;
-
Administer and maintain apprenticeship documentation,
providing employee support as required;
-
Maintain an understanding of CLAC collective agreements;
-
Provide additional Human Resources support as required;
The following
skills and qualifications are required:
-
5 years experience in recruitment and staffing, preferably in
an industrial construction environment;
-
Proficient with MS office software (Word, Excel, Access);
-
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful, with strong
interpersonal skills;
-
Strong time management skills, confidentiality, and
professionalism;
-
Proficient and confident recruiting via telephone, in a high-volume
environment.

Full-time position, around Albertall
Reporting to
the Site Manager, this position will be based on various projects around
Alberta. Position responsibilities subject to change in accordance with
business requirements and as directed by management from time to time.
Specific
responsibilities will include the following:

Gather
information from multiple sources to generate accurate project weekly cost
and performance reports;
-
Liaise with
clients to ensure schedules are realistic and satisfy project
requirements;
-
Develop and
produce consistent reports that meet the needs of management and clients
relative to project costs, schedule performance and productivity; identify
issues having potential impact on schedule and cost;
-
Develop and

Accurately
analyze project data/information and identify scheduling, cost, and
productivity problems and provide issue resolution where necessary;

Read and
analyze the construction work package and drawings and design work plans
and schedules that break down work activities and their timing to the
greatest level of detail (Level 5) required for frontline site work. This
includes identifying and describing the daily maintenance activities,
defining duration, building the logic of the project to coordinate with
other contractor activities, and levelling the man hours (depending on
availability), and defining resources and materials;

Evaluate,
summarize and provide timely reporting on work schedules for the project
management and client, including progress, percent complete, critical
activities, slippage, forecasts and manpower requirements of upcoming
scheduled activities;

Maintain
current maintenance schedule, baseline schedule, and other project control
schedules

meetings

Ensure personal compliance
to Triton safety standards and applicable legislation (i.e. wear all
appropriate PPE, safety consumables and plant specific safety equipment).
The following
skills and qualifications are required:

2 - 5 years
Project Scheduling experience in an industrial construction environment or
equivalent technical degree/diploma with a proven ability to understand
work sequencing and develop accurate schedules;

Advanced
proficiency with MS Office, as well as experience using CMS and/or
Primavera;
-
Advanced
analytical and organizational skills and experience in managing large
volumes of documentation;
-
Detail
oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful, with strong interpersonal
skills;
-
Excellent
communication skills, both verbal and written;
-
Strong time
management skills, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Full-time position, around Albertal
Reporting to the Corporate QA/QC Manager of Triton Projects Ltd, and based
on various jobsites in Alberta, this position is responsible to review
contract scope develop Inspection Test Plans and ensure the application of
the quality plan to all contracts.
Specific responsibilities will include the following:
-
Review contract scope/specifications and develop adequate Inspection Test
Plans and ensure there is a Quality Program in place for all applicable
contracts as required.
-
Provide interpretation and compliance to company manuals, piping codes,
pressure vessel codes, and structural codes i.e.: ASME SEC. I, II, IV, V,
VIII Div. 1, IX, B31.1, B31.3, CSA B51, W59, W47, Z662, ABSA Regulations
etc. Also have a good working knowledge of the above codes and
regulations.

Identify, control, and develop weld procedures to cover welding operations
undertaken.
-
Ensure compliance to company weld procedures being utilized.
-
Provide trouble-shooting expertise for quality related issues that arise.
-
Be a
resource person to all our key personnel to assist in planning and over
coming quality issues as they arise.
The
following skills and qualifications are required:

Possess certification to W178.2, Level 2 Welding Inspector.
-
Good
working knowledge and understanding of ASME Codes Sec. I, II, IV, V, VIII
Division 1, IX, B31.1, B31.3, CSA Z662, W47, W59, B51, ABSA Regulations
and Standards etc.
-
A
diploma or certificate in Welding Engineering Technology
-
Knowledge of CGSB Level II RT, UT, MP, LP is a definite asset
-
Be
familiar with facets of a General Contractors role is so far as it
pertains to Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Building Construction,
E&I, Insulation, Coating Construction etc and possess a general base of
understanding and familiarity concerning these disciplines.

Be
conversant with interpreting & understanding Orthographic, Isometric and
P&ID drawings.
-
Possess better than average computer skills, particularly working with
data and data base programs i.e.: Word, Excel.
-
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to handle sensitive
and critical situations and issues.
-
Possess a valid Driver's License.
-
Be an
effective problem solver, and possess analysis skills.
